2025 Scout Snow Trip

 

Friday 1st August - Sunday 3rd August 2025

The base price of this snow trip includes travel, accommodation, breakfast & dinner Saturday & breakfast only Sunday and National Park entry.

The base price per person is below. We continue to run this activity as cheap as possible.

  • Child (<14 years) = $320
  • Adult (>15 years) = $335 

A full application form needs to be completed per person attending this activity. Participants under the age of 15 must be accompanied/supervised by a parent/guardian.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – TAKE NOTE:

  • Paperwork, Payments and Questions – All applications should be returned to Nick Wolf “Wolfie” for involvement in the Snow Trip. Applications should be sealed in an envelope with payment receipt and completed forms. Please hand these to Wolfie at your next section meeting.
  • Deposit & Payments – Payment to be made by direct deposit upon receipt of an invoice. Payment details & instructions are contained on the invoice. A deposit of the base price (per person) is required to secure your place (with application form) due no later than 1st June 2025. Full payment is due no later than 1st July 2025.
  • Numbers – We have a limited capacity for the trip. First in best dressed. As of 1st May 2025, any unfilled positions will be opened up to friends of the Scout Group. Prior to this date only families in 2nd Panania Group may register.
  • Transport – Driving yourself is not an option on this activity. All participants must be on the chartered coach. The coach will depart at 4pm on Friday 1st August. The pick-up location will be in Panania and the coach will return to the same place around 11pm/midnight on Sunday 3rd August.
  • Accommodation – We have booked a dorm hall at the Scout Alpine Activity Centre. These are bunk beds and have around 6 beds to a pod area. No private accommodation is available. Beds will be allocated in order to maximize on space provided
  • Cancellations – In the event of a cancellation, the total amount paid will be refunded providing the seat is re-sold. There will be no refund if the seat is not re-sold.
  • Catering – Two breakfasts and Saturday dinner is included within the base price. You will need to provide or purchase your own dinner on Friday night and Sunday Night at the convenience stops going there and on the return. Lunch on the ski slopes is at your cost. Our catering is aimed at families aged 5 and above.
