2nd Panania Cubs Survival Challenge Camp 2026

Adventure awaits this September!

We’re inviting our Cubs to put their skills, teamwork and courage to the test at the 2nd Panania Cubs Survival Challenge at Mt Keira Scout Camp.

Across an action-packed weekend, the Cubs will learn practical bushcraft skills, practise lashings, gather supplies, build shelters, take on a chariot race and cook dinner over the fire. We’ll finish Saturday around the group campfire before heading out for a Sunday morning hike.

Camp details

When: Saturday 12th to Sunday 13th, September 2026
Location: Mt Keira Scout Camp
Meet: 8:00 am Saturday at the 2nd Panania Scout Hall
Return: Approximately 4:00 pm Sunday at the Scout Hall
Cost: $40 per Cub

What’s included?

The camp fee covers accommodation, meals, activities and camp materials.

The planned menu includes fruit and snacks, make-your-own sandwiches, a camp-cooked dinner with damper, marshmallows and hot chocolate around the fire, and Sunday breakfast and lunch. Dietary requirements can be accommodated where advised in advance.

What parents need to know

A full packing list, medical and dietary form, emergency contact information and final transport arrangements will be provided to registered families.
