Our Group booking at Scouts Air Activity Centre at Camden Airport SUNDAY 22nd June, 2025 for all Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, parents and Leaders.  The Air Activity Centre has been operating since 1972 and is a Scouting initiative, completely supported by volunteers. This is the only centre of its kind in Australia combining fun and the thrill of flying with target badge achievement.

Come and experience the excitement of cockpit procedures. Observe aircraft controls in action. Listen-in to air traffic control radio calls as you soar high in our fleet of Cessna 172s. Enjoy uninterrupted views over the Blue Mountains and the Hawkesbury-Nepean district.  The program includes a flight in one of the Scouts own Cessna 172 aircraft usually to Warragamba Dam and return, a trip that takes approximately 25 minutes.

Included in visit:
• Aviation experience programs tailored for the different aged groups.
• Participants will take part in other activities related to aviation including an escorted aerodrome walk, which will include identifying key elements on the aerodrome, air traffic control tower, aircraft movements, different types of aircraft, aerodrome markings/signage, all with an emphasis on safety.

COST :    All Flying Participants (Adults & Children): $80.00 per person
                Non-Flying participants (ground component only): $25.00 per person

Minimum age for flying:  Joey aged 5

RSVP:  27th MAY, 2025. Please do not make payment yet - Group will issue invoice once confirmation received of your attendance.

During the application process you will be asked whether you would like to fly or do ground activities.

All attendees (youth & adults) are to complete a registration form.

All Scout members, parents, siblings and friends are welcome to participate in the activities!! Adults who do not fly, can participate in the ground activities at no cost. Non youth members can participate in most ground activities at the discretion of the AAC Leader in charge.
